I like the Sno-Twister done in Trail-Twister blue.

I didn't notice that Maj. Kong, partly because I don't know the Twisters all that well, but you're right, it does look great. It also fits the owner's feelings about originality. He told me that he likes them restored to original mechanically, but custom cosmetically to his taste.

I grew up riding the 292 Nomad. It still amazes me how tough those sleds were in the day. I beat the crap out of mine for 4-5 years and can hardly remember it breaking. They were also pretty simple. The Mikuni carbs on those motors were a great match and very reliable.

addicted, there was a local late-teen kid running what looked to me like to be an original condition '73 292 Nomad on the Relic Ride in the U.P. last Saturday. I flagged him down when he came through Steuben later in the afternoon and we spoke briefly. He told me he was amazed that the old Suzuki had no problems and did so well on the ride. The sled looked basically untouched.

'anyone can drive a new sled, it takes some dedication to run crap'
